It all started with a love for my brother and sister's dog Cedar; A sweet little golden retriever who made everybody smile. Our family of 6 had just moved in to a cozy little lake cottage but I was sure there was room for one more!  Carefully balancing the head and the heart I did not lose sight of our concerns for all that dog hair.  Golden retrievers consistently shed as they are double coated.  This led us to a fantastic little lady downstate named Bev Frost, a longtime breeder of goldendoodles and one very special puppy meant just for us!  ALL THAT'S GOLD!  With out all the pet fur and dander!  The winter of 2015 we came home with our very first goldendoodle!  Vasa (named after the well known trail system we enjoyed spending much of our time on) has been the inspiration that compels us to share in the joys of owning such a beloved companion.  A special part of our family, she makes room in what she thinks is "her" bed for our oldest daughter Gwen.  Her bloodline in every puppy is the hallmark of our doodles and her puppies do not disappoint!  Not one complaint!!  A most common phrase we hear is, "Best dog I have ever owned!"  She is retired now enjoying her days on the farm, and taking care of our Gwen.  She plays the role of Grandma Vasa to our puppies and continues to nurture and teach them in preparation for all their future holds.  Her legacy will live on through her puppies and forever in our hearts.
