Our Dogs
It all started with a love for my brother and sister's dog Cedar; A sweet little golden retriever who made everybody smile. Our family of 6 had just moved in to a cozy little lake cottage but I was sure there was room for one more!
Inka is one of our very own doubledoodle puppies from Vasa's second litter. We had a Scandinavian name theme since my children were studying that region at the time. It was that year that our first and favorite sire Murdock retired and Inka reminded us a lot of him.
In 2019 we added a new breed to our program, the highly sought after bernedoodle. We have always admired the many attributes of the Bernese Mountain Dog but with so many inherent health issues and a track record of stubborn behaviors the sad reality of this parent breed is a life span of 7 years with much of that time spent in an uphill battle of training efforts and health bills.
Mooshie is our most recent addition. This roly-poly pup was the missing piece to our family puzzle. All our girls had their doodles but our youngest child Arrow still needed the proper companion to accompany him on his daily fishing sessions and adventures.
